To make an appointment
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are operating a triage first service for all appointments. Triage is a way of making sure patients get the quickest possible response to their healthcare needs. It also helps us to better manage the increasing demands for urgent appointments whilst ensuring that we keep our patients and staff safe by minimising COVID-19 infection risks through a reduction in the numbers of people coming to the surgery.
Please call 01969 622391 to make an appointment. Our phone lines are very busy in the mornings so if your matter isn’t urgent please call in the afternoon.
If your medical problem is urgent please contact the surgery, where possible, before 12 noon each day.
A telephone triage appointment will be arranged with a GP who will call you back within the hour.
If your medical problem is a more general problem a telephone appointment will be arranged for a GP to contact you. Please advise the receptionist of any times or dates you are not available.
Home visits will be made if they are clinically necessary. Any requests for a home visit should be made before 10.30am.
The doctor may suggest a video consultation to help them diagnose your problem and determine the best course of action, however please be assured that a face to face appointment will be made if a physical examination is needed.
Online consultations
You don’t always need to come into the practice to get our medical expertise. Why not save time and try our online service.
Patients can now contact us about a medical or administrative issues online. Answer a few short questions, provide a photo/s (if applicable) and we will get back to you within 2 working days.
Please do not use this online form for urgent or emergency requests. The submitted forms will only be read during normal opening hours. The forms will not be read on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or on bank holidays. They will not be read Monday–Friday between the hours of 17:00–09:00. Please contact 111 out of hours or 999 if it is an emergency. If you are unsure which service you need please refer to our Choose well, stay well guidance.
The service also offers access to reliable and trustworthy self-help generic information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that may help you to avoid an appointment altogether. For more information please refer to this NHS patient information leaflet on online consultations.
Better access – more routine primary care appointments
More routine primary care appointments have been made available to people living in our region. This is not a walk-in service – please speak to a receptionist to book your appointment.
