Online account

To help our patients manage their healthcare we offer online accounts via SystmOnline. Users must register for an online account and can then log in to access services via the internet. With an online account you can:

  • book routine appointments with doctors and Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • book routine telephone appointments with doctors and Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • book blood appointments with our phlebotomists
  • order your repeat medication
  • view future appointments
  • cancel appointments
  • access your Summary Care Record

You can book appointments online up to eight weeks in advance, although please note that at any one time there may be only four weeks of appointments available.

To register for an online account please contact Reception on 01969 622391 or call in at the Surgery. Once you have been given a username and password simply click on the laptop image or the link below and make your booking.

At the moment it is not possible to make online appointment bookings with the Practice Nurses; or longer appointments with the doctors (e.g. for medicals, cervical smears, minor operations, contraceptive implants etc.); or clinic appointments, and these must still be booked through our Receptionists in the usual way.

SystmOne Airmid App

Airmid is SystmOne’s new patient facing app to support all of your healthcare needs.

If you are already using SystmOnline to order your medication, for example, you can download the app and use the same log in.

If you are new to SystmOnline please contact the surgery and request a log in. We will need to confirm your identity and you may need to provide a driving license or passport as your proof of identity.

Once signed up, every patient can do everything they can in SystmOnline and more. From viewing the record to requesting repeat medication, viewing your vaccination history and test results.

You don’t always need to come into the practice to get our medical expertise. Why not save time and try our online service.

Patients who are registered at Leyburn Medical Practice can now contact us about a medical or administrative issues online. Answer a few short questions, provide a photo/s (if applicable) and we will get back to you within 2 working days.

Please do not use this online form for urgent or emergency requests. The submitted forms will only be read during normal opening hours. The forms will not be read on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or on bank holidays. They will not be read Monday–Friday between the hours of 17:00–09:00. Please contact 111 out of hours or 999 if it is an emergency. If you are unsure which service you need please refer to our Choose well, stay well guidance.

The service also offers access to reliable and trustworthy self-help generic information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that may help you to avoid an appointment altogether. For more information please refer to this NHS patient information leaflet on online consultations.

Push Doctor

We are now providing video consultations with the online GP provider, Push Doctor. This means there will be more availability to access NHS GPs via video appointment at a time and place that suits you. The practice remains open as normal for telephone and face-to-face consultations if preferred.

(Over 18s only with photo ID – ideal for conditions such as depression, anxiety, MSK problems, skin conditions, cold and flu, headaches, allergies and general fatigue)
